MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD. Please join the first public meeting, hosted by NYC DDC and NV5, about the new flood protection plan for Red Hook. This is your chance to tell the city how to use $100 million to best protect our neighborhood for the future. https://www1.nyc.gov/site/rhcr/index.page

The Red Hook Coastal Resiliency project* is a coastal protection project funded by the City of New York, and Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) and the New York State Department of Emergency and Homeland Security Services (DSHES), aimed at reducing flood risks due to coastal storm surge and sea level rise along Red Hook's waterfront, while also integrating with the community fabric, and improving the long-term resiliency of the neighborhood.
